On 21 November the annual London Older People’s Assembly organised by LOPSG is taking place at City Hall from 10 am – 4 pm. The theme is “The Economic Contributions of Older Londoners” with afternoon workshops looking at how older people contribute in different ways to London’s economy. Deputy Mayor of London Victoria Borwick will be delivering the keynote speech, along with a diverse range of speakers from the voluntary, public and private sectors.

This is a chance to come along and draw decision-makers’ attention to how older people do contribute, or what you think needs to be done to make it easier for older people to contribute.

It follows other publicity recently about older people’s contribution to London, including a new report by the Mayor: http://bit.ly/176hEJq
