Unwanted Phone Calls

When, oh when, are these unwanted phone calls going to cease? Are you fed up with them? You are in the middle of doing something, maybe with wet hands – the phone goes, you rush to dry your hands get to the phone and… This is an important message from Barclays, Lloyds, HSBC etc. blah, blah, blah… it’s even worse if you are in the bath or shower and rush around trying to get to the phone.

This really has been going on for long enough and a stop should be put to them NOW. I thought there were new laws to stop these nuisance calls but it does not seem to make any difference. How many people – after 18 months at least – are still answering these ads to get compensation? It seems as if it has also stretched to insurance/solicitors regarding accidents you have never had.

Is it time that we all shouted ‘enough is enough’ and took some action against this continuous harassment – could we even bring in a violation of our human rights through continuous harassment? Certainly it is an issue to put on any election manifesto – if you stop these nuisance calls we may even vote for you! Certainly a lot of would be MPs would then be working towards the peace and quiet we all deserve.
